July 2018 – Clubes de Ciencia in Latin America
David Vargas (2nd year grad) traveled to Colombia to participate to Clubes de Ciencia (Science Clubs), an outreach program that aims at developing the next generation of scientists in Latin American countries. The program impacted more than 6500 students from six different countries. David developed and taught an interactive class in which students had the opportunity to learn concepts of chemistry and biochemistry and apply them in hands-on experiments in the laboratory. See the students in action here. Well done, David!
